I do not know about anyone else but I can not stand using beeswax or petroleum on my lips!!!!!
I just want pure and simple shea, mango,cocoa butter etc!!!!
So here it comes. This week we are making all natural and pure lip balm......

Oh and not to mention (especially because I hate spending so much money on products to moisturize my pregnant body) Yummy Body Buddies!!!!! They come in stick form not in a jar..
Be on the look out.

On flaw I have is that I have to wait until all the leaks get fixed before I can continue my line!!
That should all be fixed real soon.!!!!!!

Yummy egg soap

Just an update for you all. The egg soap if finally cut up and curing on my shelf.
So the results so far a wonderful smelling soap that is a tad bit soft at the moment. not like real soap but a bit soft. I will keep my eye on it and let you all know whats what as I go happily bubbling along!!!!

NEW EGG SOAP

A wonderful addition to our line of products!!

We all know that egg is supposed to be so awesome for your hair. So I have created an egg shampoo bar that is curing. It will be ready in 2 weeks from today which is February 09, 2009.

I can not wait this is a new and exciting product that everyone should try.
BTW I of course used cage free eggs in my creation!!!

Well after a busy Farmers Market Season I am back in action... Many things have been happening since and soon all will be revealed.. I am in the process of compiling a new sample box from local tri-state area bath and beauty product crafters.... Just like home of the sampler, the little black box and lemming central just more local and personal.. Many things are changing and we need to find a way to get our small business products out there..
I am in the process of making some newsletters that will be going out to my customers so I need to get ready for the holidays!!! I am making new candles for our daughters school as a fundraiser too. Busy is the best way to be especially when the holidays are right around the corner.. I will keep you all posted....

Hey all we have been busy at work making product for oiur 2 days of Farmers Markets in Newark NJ. I have made many contacts there and everyone is giving us great reviews....
We have now just made Flower Feilds Soap made with Lavender, and Carribean Life made with ginger and lemongrass....

Look for our new Doggy Soap and shampoo bar next week...

Newark Farmers Market

Well Breathless Beauty will debut its soaps at the Newark Farmers Market Located at Military Park. The Market starts on June 26th and runs until October 30,2008. The market is open every Thursday from 11am-3pm.

Martha Stewart Show

Well what an eventful day I had with a great Friend.
Delores and I went ot see the Martha Stewart Show and we had Front row seats...
Delores is not only my friend but a fellow soapmaker that runs a terrific group call The Brooklyn CP soapmakers. You can join her group if you are a soapmaker by clicking on the side of my blog where it says Proud Member of Brooklyn CP Soapmakers. I suggest you join as she is a great person who has great expertise in soap making.

We learned about being more earth friendly today and got a great book on gardening plus we got a tree from the Arbor Foundation. I will post the pictures as soon as I can.

I am officially back in work mode. Waiting on the lye to be delivered to make new creations. The weekend was very tranquil for me and I needed a break from the noise of the city. I will let you know whats on the agenda for my next creation as soon as I receive my Lye.

New Soap

Well just removed Rising Sun from the molds. It is officially done and looks like it is going to be a great seller. My husband says it reminds him of Pittsburgh because of its woodsy yet lemony scent. This is going to be a great addition to the items for men.
As soon as it gets a little on the harder side I will take a picture and post it for all to see.

New Creation

Today well ran out of some supplies had to place orders and went to mail out a package in the post office. Then decided I needed a new Gourmet Vegan Soap so as I was mixing away I kept jumping from one thought to the next. Then it hit me I only have one scent that caters to men I mean it is unisex but the men love it, so here I had my idea. Added 3 diferent scents and crushed Hibiscus flowers topped with candula . Now coming up with a name, the scents are unisex but not girly smelling...... I think Rising Sun. Yep thats is so Rising sun is now on its way to curing. I will post pics as soon as I cut them up tomorrow evening.

I had the pleasure of sampling some of Breathless Beauty’s products and am definitely giving them a THUMBS UP!The Cloverberry Body Souffle had an interested scent, I’ve never actually smelled anything like it! The mixture of clove with the cocoa butter is a musky aroma. The souffle was a little hard at first but it warmed up quickly and did wonders on my hands!I also tried some Walnut Brownie Soap. The smell was TO DIE FOR! Made me want to bake brownies! The lather was really great and the bar has lasted through a lot of use. Definitely recommend it!

Mini Home Store

This weekend I taught a fabulous workshop in my home with a small group of 8 people. I have a mini store set up in my dining area and boy it was a great set up. I actually made product sales from the dinning room... I was so excited. This is the push to get more of my product out there and go into these fairs in NYC and other areas.
